Another WPXI hire
Channel 11 has hired another general assignment reporter.
Yolanda Hawkins, who grew up in Pittsburgh, was most recently a reporter at CBS affiliate KEYE in Austin, Texas. The Emerson College graduate has worked at WALB in Albany, Ga., and WMAZ in Macon, Ga. She begins at WPXI on May 12.
Channel surfing
The WB is now calling Thursday's one-hour season finale of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" a series finale. ... Comedy Central's "Primetime Glick," starring Martin Short as celebrity interviewer Jiminy Glick, returns with new episodes April 30 at 10:30 p.m.
