Wannstedt, Pitt players appear today on ESPN
Friday, July 30, 2010

The Pitt Panthers have received plenty of offseason publicity because expectations are as high as they've been heading into a season for quite some time.

That will continue today as Dave Wannstedt and All-American candidates Dion Lewis and Greg Romeus will be live at ESPN headquarters and appear on various shows all day.

It will be an excellent chance for the trio to gain exposure for the program, and for Lewis and Romeus to climb further into the spotlight.

"This is one of the most anticipated seasons for the University of Pittsburgh in recent history," Pitt spokesman E.J. Borghetti said. "In addition to having extremely high team aspirations, we believe we have two of the elite talents in all of college football in Dion Lewis and Greg Romeus. And I can't think of a better place to promote that than the worldwide leader in sports."

Wannstedt will kick off the day by joining the "Mike and Mike in the Morning" show at 9:25 a.m.

Here is the schedule for rest of the Panthers' day:

9:25: ESPN RISE
