A 21-year-old man was fatally shot in the head early today in North Braddock.
North Braddock police were dispatched to the 500 block of Margaret Way at about 2:15 a.m. for reports of shots fired. There they found Josef Moore of North Braddock, who had been shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:30 a.m.
Allegheny County homicide detectives said their probe showed that more than one person had fired a gun in that area. A man wearing dark clothing was seen fleeing the scene on foot, detectives said in a news release.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office has scheduled an autopsy for today.
