Due to road conditions and the expectation of more snow today, the deadline for paying city of Pittsburgh property taxes with a 2 percent discount will be extended, likely until month's end.
The deadline had been set for Wednesday. City officials confirmed the extension in an e-mail to council members today.
Allegheny County's deadline for paying property taxes with a 2 percent discount is March 31.
City council will not hold a public hearing on bicycle parking improvements that had been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today. Council has also moved both its Tuesday and Wednesday meetings to Thursday because of road conditions.
