An Indiana County man was killed in a crash yesterday morning on Route 286 in Westmoreland County.
Stanley J. Deren, 56, of Saltsburg, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:10 a.m.
State police said the accident occurred around 5:45 a.m. in Bell after Mr. Deren's vehicle left the road, went through a yard and dropped into a creek bed.
Cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma, according to the county coroner's office. Police said Mr. Deren was not wearing a seat belt.
