Q: What is the status of Maurice Walker? I know we three players coming in with two open spots next year, is Walker out of luck with Pitt?

FITTIPALDO: The NCAA early signing period ended yesterday, so Walker will sign somewhere during spring signing period. From what I understand Pitt is still very much in the hunt for his services. In the event that JJ Moore does not qualify then Walker is the third recruit and only one player has to leave. Maybe by the spring, two players currently on the roster want to transfer. In that scenario, there is room for Walker and Moore. There are five months until the spring signing period. A lot can happen between now and then.
