Ten volunteer fire companies battled for nearly five hours to quench a brush fire that burned dozens of acres in Potter, Beaver County.
The fire was reported around 7:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Pleasant Drive.
No structures were in the path of the blaze, emergency dispatchers said.
No injuries were reported.
Fire officials said the fire burned about 25 acres of brush and trees before the scene was cleared around noon today.
