Football fans warned of faked paper tickets
Sunday, November 15, 2009

It's buyer beware for those still seeking tickets for the Steelers-Cincinnati Bengals game this afternoon.

Officials with the Steelers and Heinz Field have warned fans to watch out for counterfeit tickets offered by scalpers. In a statement, the organizations said nationally televised games provide an "increased likelihood that counterfeit tickets will be sold around the stadium."

The organizations advised fans not to buy from scalpers paper tickets printed through the TicketExchange service because of the chance of counterfeiting.
