The Pennsylvania Department of Health will offer the H1N1 vaccine to five target groups at four clinics in the Pittsburgh region on Nov. 20, 21 and 22.
The clinics will give the vaccine only to: people between the ages of 6 months and 24 years; caregivers and household contacts for children younger than 6 months; pregnant women; healthcare providers and emergency medical services personnel; and people under the age of 65 who have underlying health problems such as asthma, diabetes, suppressed immune systems, heart disease, kidney disease, or other conditions.
The four clinics will be located at the Mercer County State Health Center (25 McQuiston Drive, Jackson Center); the Richland Fire Department (1321 Scalp Ave., Johnstown); the Mon Valley State Health Center (Eastgate 8, Room 140, Monessen); and the Butler County State Health Center (100 Brugh Ave., Monarch Building, Suite 201, Butler).
The clinics will be open between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday and Sunday, Nov. 22. They will be open between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. next Saturday.
