North Huntingdon police last night were investigating a fatal accident in which a pedestrian walking along Route 30 was struck and killed by a passing vehicle.

According to police Cpl. William C. Corrie, the accident occurred just before 6 p.m. near Kreiser's Distributing. The name of the victim was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
