PennDOT has moved up the start time for construction on the Parkway North between Interstate 79 and Bellevue-West View to accommodate Pitt football traffic.

The work had been scheduled for 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow but will start at 11 tonight instead, with traffic reduced to one lane in both directions. The restriction will be lifted inbound before the noon Pitt game and outbound afterward, spokesman Jim Struzzi said.
