Tuesday, November 03, 2009

A woman rescued from a house fire in Tarentum yesterday has now been charged in the case.

Terra Lynn, 36, and her two children, ages 11 and 8, were rescued from her duplex on Bakerstown Road around 12:30 a.m. yesterday and taken to a hospital. A woman who lived in a lower section of the house was not injured.

Today, Allegheny County police announced they have charged her with arson, three counts of recklessly endangering another person and other offenses.

The county fire marshal said yesterday that the blaze was suspicious.

She was arraigned last night and bail was set at $75,000.
