Third-quarter revenues for HFF, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based commercial real estate broker, fell 33.6 percent to $20.6 million compared with revenues of $31 million in the third quarter of 2008.
The decrease in third-quarter 2009 revenues is due to fewer transactions due to the global recession during the first nine months of the year.
The company's quarterly revenues were, however, about 25.6 percent higher than its second-quarter 2009 revenues of about $16.4 million.
