A newly constructed Walgreens Pharmacy, which has been plagued by controversy during the past several months, is scheduled to open Friday along Route 30 in North Huntingdon.
Judge Daniel J. Ackerman yesterday approved a negotiated settlement between township officials and a Cleveland-based developer.
The judge's decree ordered township Zoning Officer/Building Inspector Keith Evers to issue a temporary certificate of occupancy.
The developer filed a motion against the township and Mr. Evers on Sept. 21 after Mr. Evers denied issuance of a certificate of occupancy.
