A 19-year-old Turtle Creek man was shot and killed today after being shot in the head outside an abandoned house in McKeesport.

McKeesport police detective Capt. Bryan Washowich said the victim, who was not identified, was visiting relatives in the area of the 1600 block of Sixth Street shortly after 3 p.m. when he was hit by one of several shots fired by an assailant on foot.

Police tonight were searching for the shooter, described as black male, of medium height and build, with braided hair, who fled south toward Shaw Avenue.
