Three Westmoreland County girls who ran away last week from a Murrysville foster home were found over the weekend in Bedford County, police said.
The girls were found unharmed, Murrysville police Chief Thomas Seefeld said yesterday.
The girls, Hillary Ott, 16, Laura Kohrs, 14, and Linda Bauman, 16, were found by the father of Ms. Ott's boyfriend, Chief Seefeld said.
The father, whose name was not released, lives in Bedford. He delivered the girls to the Murrysville police station around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the three ran away from their foster home after getting into trouble. They went to school Oct. 21, but they did not return home.
Westmoreland County sheriff's deputies have since taken the girls to separate juvenile facilities in other counties, Chief Seefeld said.
