A Bethel Park man was charged with criminal homicide following a fatal altercation this morning.
Jason Kasper, 35, of Bethel Park, faces charges of criminal homicide, homicide by vehicle, and homicide by vehicle while driving drunk.
The victim was John Pavlick, 49, of Grey Fox Circle, Bethel Park.
The case is being investigated by the Allegheny County Police homicide unit and Bethel Park police.
An officer from the homicide unit said Mr. Kasper went to the Bethel Park home of Mr. Pavlick and his wife, Tracy, and became involved in an argument with Mr. Pavlick.
At 1:25 a.m., Mr. Kasper ran over Mr. Pavlick with a motor vehicle.
The officer said Mr. Kasper was involved in a relationship with Mrs. Pavlick who had been intermittently estranged from her husband.
