Soccer Highlights: Moon girls fall to Norwin
Tigers had allowed one goal all season
Sunday, November 01, 2009

Norwin coach Danielle Baginski said she hoped her team would play a "level-headed" playoff game against WPIAL Class AAA top-seeded Moon.

Little did she know how useful those noggins would be.

Dana DelleFemine's header with 14 minutes left to play gave the Knights (16-3-1) a 1-0 quarterfinal victory against the Tigers (17-1-1).

"The kids weren't afraid of Moon, despite their seeding," Baginski said.

The Tigers had surrendered just one goal all season before yesterday.
