A portion of a small bridge connecting Springhill and Nicholson townships in Fayette County collapsed this morning, sending a truck carrying propane into s stream directly below it.
No one was injured in the incident reported to Fayette County 911 at 10:18 a.m., a supervisor there said. The road was closed to traffic because of the collapse.
Hazmat personnel responded to the scene but there was no spillage.
The bridge connects Lover's Leap Road in Nicholson and Larman Mill Road in Springhill.
