Terrance Stepoli completed 11 of 13 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown and ran for two more to lead the Greyhounds (7-2, 7-0) to an emphatic 50-21 victory against visiting California (4-5, 3-4) .
The victory clinched first place in the Tri-County South conference for Monessen.
After California's Wade Stinnett caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from D.J. Martinak in the second quarter to pull the Trojans within 20-6, Nick Bolias ran back an 80-yard kick to give the Greyhounds a comfortable 34-14 halftime cushion. They were never threatened the rest of the way.
In all, Bolias pulled in five catches for 102 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown in the second half.
Stinnett finished with 76 yards on five receptions.
Deontae Howard ran for four touchdowns on runs of 14, 1, 56 and 3 yards to lead the No. 3-ranked Bears to an easy win against the visiting No. 5 Eagles.
Howard tallied 175 yards on 18 carries, giving him 1,346 for the season. He also threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to Trenton Coles.

Chase Kirmeyer ran for 115 yards on 28 carries, including a2-yard run in the first quarter, giving the host Commodores all the points they needed to defeat the Bearcats (2-7, 1-6) in a Black Hills conference game.
Dylan Bongiorni threw two touchdown passes to lead the host Blue Devils (4-5, 3-4) past the Eagles (2-7, 1-6) in Black Hills conference play.
Alex Daniels kicked a 37-yard field goal in the second overtime to give the visiting Rangers (7-2, 5-2) a victory against the Buccaneers (5-4, 3-4) in a Black Hills conference game.
Char-Houston had a chance to win the game in overtime but fumbled on the 1-yard line. Fort Cherry's Gary Kiefer cut through the Buccaneers defense for 140 yards and scored two touchdowns in the victory.
Martin Long passed for 160 yards to lead the Trojans (7-2, 7-0) to victory against the Antelopes (7-2, 6-2).
Long also rushed for 65 yards in the victory, while Morgan Porter kicked a 21-yard field goal for the Trojans.
Lamont Robinson ran for 129 yards on 18 carries to lead the Spartans (5-4, 5-2) to victory against the visiting Cougars (2-7, 2-5).
C.J. Gallagher scored on a 6-yard run in the decisive third quarter, in which Brentwood outscored Carlynton, 15-0.
