Question: Hi Ed. What you think about Denver's decision to switch to Mitch Berger at punter? Did the light air influence their choice?

Carol McCoy, Poland, Ohio

BOUCHETTE: Berger punted 56 times last season for the Steelers for a gross average of 41.3 yards and a net of 36.4. He knocked 19 inside the 20. He's also punted for the Bengals, Bears, Colts, Packers, Vikings, Rams, Saints, Cardinals and now the Broncos, who signed him this week. He did not punt for the Eagles, who drafted him in the sixth round in 1994. He's 37 and his best punts are behind him but is dependable and once was among the league's best. He averaged 46.3 yards on three punts in the Super Bowl, one inside the 20. He had some hamstring problems last season that might have limited him.
