Mike Caputo had 39 carries for 207 yards and scored four touchdowns as West Allegheny clinched a home game for the WPIAL Class AAA playoffs with a 35-22 Parkway Conference win against Montour.
Caputo scored on runs of 5, 11 and 19 yards and on a 32-yard pass from Jared Buck. Buck was 9 for 11 for 150 yards for the host Indians (7-2, 5-1).
Dillon Buechel was 19 for 34 for 368 yards passing and two touchdowns for the Spartans (5-4, 3-3).

? West Allegheny 2, Center 1: Brandon McCracken had the winner to lead the Indians (18-1-1) to the semifinals for the first time. Tony Monaco also scored in a Class AA quarterfinal win against the Trojans (14-5) at Chartiers Valley.
? Seton-LaSalle 1, Quaker Valley 0: James DelGreco scored with 13 minutes to play as the Rebels (14-6) upset the host Quakers (15-4) in a Class A quarterfinal.

? Springdale 3, Sewickley Academy 0: Brittany Loveland had two goals and sister Breanne added another as the Dynamos (16-1-2) beat the Panthers (15-4-1) in a Class AA quarterfinal at Mars.
? Beaver 2, Quaker Valley 0: Stephanie Buckenheimer and Kat Gubish scored as the Bobcats (16-1) won their 16th in a row with a Class AA quarterfinal win against the Quakers (10-7-2).
? Center 8, Mount Pleasant 2: Madison Taylor and Megan Hampe each had three goals as the Trojans (16-2-1) cruised to a Class AA quarterfinal win against the Vikings (16-5) at Chartiers Valley.
? Schenley won its second consecutive City League championship, beating Allderdice in the title match, 2-1 (25-23, 21-25, 15-13), at Brashear.
