Allderdice: Boys' soccer team

The Dragons could be on their way to another City League title. What else is new? Since the City League started playing soccer championships, Allderdice has won 19 of 21 years. The final is Wednesday at Cupples Stadium.

Nolan Trombetta: Pine-Richland hockey

Talented Dylan Trombetta has graduated, but Nolan, a sophomore, seems fine without his older brother. Nolan scored a hat trick Monday in the Rams' second game, an 8-0 victory against Wheeling Park, W.Va.

Orne Bey? Gateway football

Opposing defenses probably get ornery after dealing with Orne. He has carried only 47 times, but has gained 612 yards (13.0 average). He is a relative of former West Virginia University star QB Major Harris.

McKenzie siblings: Mars soccer

In the regular season, Ryan McKenzie had 30 goals, which tied for second in the WPIAL. He has led Mars to the WPIAL quarterfinals. His sister, Kristin, is on the Mars' girls' team that also qualified for the postseason.
