Wines Under Glass Sparkler lived up to its name Thursday, with honorary chairs Lou and Veronica Guarino bringing in diamonds and other sparkling gems from sponsor Louis Anthony Jewelers. The two-tiered benefit attracted 500 guests to Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens for the party with a grand bazaar theme. Foods from the Silk Route were paired with wines from Clos LaChance (provided for the 15th year by Kevin Piacentini, brother of Phipps executive director Richard Piacentini) and other wineries, and a live auction with Marty Davis helped to make the evening fun and profitable.
