The Pennsylvania Supreme Court recently reappointed Penina Kessler Lieber of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP to the Pennsylvania Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (IOLTA) board for a three year term ending September 1, 2012.

Attorney Todd Berkey, partner, Edgar Snyder & Associates, was elected into the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County.

The Master Interior Contractors Association named its officers: President: Fred Episcopo, Wyatt Inc.; vice-president: Michael Nehnevajsa, Easley & Rivers Inc.; treasurer: David Balmert, J.J. Morris & Sons Inc.; secretary: Richard Ostrom, RAM Acoustical Corp.

Stuart J. Setcavage, litigation team manager, State Farm Insurance, was named president of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.

The United Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh elected officers: Chair, William C. Rudolph; executive vice chair, H. Arnold Gefsky; vice chairs, Geoffrey Gerber, Theodore Goldberg and Louis Plung; treasurer, Charles Perlow; assistant treasurer, Cynthia Shapira; secretary, Rocky Wein; assistant secretary, Gerri Kay; assistant secretary, Woody Ostrow.

Banking & Finance

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh hired Winthrop Watson as chief operating officer. He will start on Nov. 18.

Consulting

KU Resources Inc. hired Mark Patrick as an economic development manager.

Education

Linda S. Drago was named vice president for legal affairs and general counsel, Duquesne University.

Health

Dr. Adil Chaudry was appointed to the medical staff at Monongahela Valley Hospital in the department of medical imaging. Dr. Chaudry is board certified in diagnostic radiology.

Insurance

Liberty Insurance Agency of Pittsburgh hired Lori Crellin as a commercial account manager, commercial insurance division, Mt. Lebanon office.

Investment

Hefren-Tillotson Inc. hired Alphonse S. Weber as vice president.

Manufacturing

Tenova Core appointed Robert J. Schurko to the newly created position of president and chief operating officer. Dominic M. Faccone, current chairman, president and CEO, will continue serving as its chairman and CEO.

Tube City IMS LLC promoted Electa Boyle to vice president of financial operations and corporate controller and Kirk Peters to vice president, treasurer and principal accounting officer.

Marketing

Savvy Structure hired Laura Ann Christman as business development director and Upendo Tookas as director, contact media design.

Professional Services

Signs By Tomorrow, Robinson, promoted Tom Bowser to project manager and Jason Thomas to project manager, and hired Mark J. Barner Jr., customer service manager, and Alex Obenauer, graphic designer.

Real Estate

Beynon and Co. said Benjamin N. Musial joined its executive team.

Retail

Eyetique hired Sherry Whelan, optician (Monroeville); Bruce Cunning, accountant (Squirrel Hill); Melissa Kelly, optician (South Hills Village); Nathan Snyder, optician (Monroeville, Wexford; and Dr. Nicole C. Long, optometrist (Squirrel Hill, South Hills Village).
