Two months after giving birth to her third child, Elisabeth Hasselbeck waded right back into the gaggle of gab on "The View" yesterday, even letting loose with an embarrassing revelation of her own.
First she shared a picture of her newborn son and related how tame it was compared to another photo she recently shared with her family. So how did a picture of Isaiah's first smile, which she sent out to her family e-mail list, cause such a stir?
"You know when your baby smiles for the first time -- I reach for the iPhone and take the photo," she said. "No wonder why he is smiling -- because my nipple is in the photo!"
"It's worse than drunk dialing," she said of inadvertently flashing her entire family. "It's embarrassing."
Despite that breast-baring gaffe, Hasselbeck, 32, didn't miss a beat being back into the show, where she usually takes the right-of-center position at the table.
"We haven't done any Sarah Palin jokes since you've been gone," co-host Sherri Shepherd joked.
"I don't believe you," the conservative Hasselbeck responded.
Among the topics the former reality-show star tackled on her first day back: "Balloon Boy" Falcon Heene, a Louisiana justice of the peace who denied an interracial couple a marriage license, Rush Limbaugh's failed attempt to buy the St. Louis Rams, David Letterman's sex scandal and the White House's media war with Fox News.
As their parents continue to make tabloid headlines -- Jon faces contempt charges for taking money out of a joint account, while Kate has just lost the reality show franchise that -- made her famous -- the eight children of Jon and Kate Gosselin are starting to feel the effects of all the stress.
In a new article posted on Vanity Fair.com, Kate reveals her brood has been "acting out" lately -- but she is hopeful it's a phase that will pass as the kids adjust to their life with divorced parents.
"I'm trying to give them the grace to see, if they're acting out of line, I'm trying to look deeper into why that is," she says in the article. "Why the kids are acting out. Cause it's all inter-related. I mean, they don't see it, but it's all interconnected."
Referring to Jon, she says, "They miss him. They say they miss him. I imagine they say the same thing when I'm away."
Not only are the kids hurting without both their parents together, Kate recently said that the demise of their hit show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" -- which came after Jon objected to his children being filmed once TLC announced plans to relaunch the show as simply Kate Plus 8 -- has caused plenty of heartache at home.
Last week on the "Today" show, Kate said, "Over the weekend I told [the kids] that we're not filming at this point. And actually, times eight, there was wailing and sobbing. They love our crew, they love the interaction, they love the events. There is nothing harmful about it. They are angry."
He's not out of the woods, but director Roman Polanski is out of jail, at least temporarily.
The director's French lawyer says that the 76-year-old is receiving medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment, according to Reuters.
"All I know is that he has been taken from prison for medical attention. I don't know where he is or when he will be returned to prison," lawyer Herve Temime said.
Wherever the director is, he's still under supervision.
"He is still in detention. If necessary he has all the medical care [needed]. It can be in prison or in hospital, in general," a spokesperson for Switzerland's Federal Office of Justice told the news agency.
Having been denied bail, the Oscar winner has been in a Swiss jail since last month awaiting an extradition hearing to decide whether he will be returned to the United States.
Polanski fled the United States in 1978 before he could be sentenced for having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
Wyclef Jean is working on a memoir.
The solo star and former frontman for The Fugees is collaborating with Rolling Stone writer Anthony Bozza on a book -- currently untitled -- to be published by It Books, an imprint of HarperCollins. Financial terms weren't disclosed and a release date hasn't been set.
The publisher announced in a statement yesterday that the book will cover Jean's life, from his childhood in rural Haiti to his musical career and philanthropic work.
Jean, who just turned 37, is known for such hit singles as "We Trying to Stay Alive" and "Gone Till November." With the Fugees, he recorded the Grammy-winning, multiplatinum-selling album "The Score."
Britain's press watchdog says it has received a record 21,000 complaints about a newspaper column on the death of Boyzone singer Stephen Gately after critics used Twitter to brand the article homophobic and insensitive.
Gately, 33, died Oct. 10, while vacationing on the Spanish island of Mallorca. An autopsy found he had died of natural causes from fluid in the lungs.
Daily Mail columnist Jan Moir wrote that Gately's death was "not, by any yardstick, a natural one" and said he died in "sleazy" circumstances.
Anger at the column swept social networking site Twitter, with actor Stephen Fry urging his 860,000 followers to contact the Press Complaints Commission.
The commission said yesterday it had received "by far the highest number of complaints" in its history.
Authorities say reality television star Stephanie Pratt has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
Los Angeles police say the 23-year-old Pratt was arrested early Sunday outside a party in Hollywood. Pratt is featured on the MTV show "The Hills" along with her brother, Spencer Pratt.
She was booked at Van Nuys jail on suspicion of driving under the influence and was released a few hours later after posting $5,000 bail.
"The Hills" chronicles the personal lives of a number of young people living in Los Angeles.
