Juliana Pschirer, 25, and David Miller, 26, wed on May 22, 2009. They now reside in Allison Park.
Q: How did you meet?
Juliana: David and I met at Bladerunners in Cranberry while I was on a date with an ex-boyfriend. I must have made an impression because he came to visit me the next day at work!
Q: Where did you each grow up?
Juliana: David grew up in McCandless and attended North Allegheny High School. I grew up in Glenshaw and attended Shaler Area High School.
Q: Where were you married? Why did you choose that site?
Juliana: We were married at St. Catherine of Sweden in Hampton. We decided to get married at this church because David's family belongs there.
Q: Where's the reception and honeymoon? Why did you choose those sites?
Juliana: The reception was at the Hampton Banquet Hall and the honeymoon was at Aventura Spa Palace in Riviera Maya. We chose the banquet hall because it was the most economical. As for the honeymoon, the resort was all inclusive and we received extra incentives such as free manicures, pedicures, massages, and excursions because we purchased a time share week off of an owner.
Q: Who was the oldest guest? Who traveled the farthest?
Juliana: I believe David's Aunt Doll and Uncle Al were the oldest and traveled the farthest. They are in their eighties and they came from North Carolina.
Q: What was the funniest thing that happened?
Juliana: The funniest thing that happened was during the ceremony. When our priest gave me the body of Christ I forgot what the response was and I incorrectly said, "Praise be to God." Thank goodness only my husband, the priest, and my attendants heard me!
Q: Who was your favorite wedding vendor? Why?
Juliana: I loved all of them! The Hampton Banquet Hall was very accommodating and came with so many inclusions. Our photographers, Photography by O'Neil, which were a mother-daughter team, were excellent and their packages were very affordable. The flowers by McCandless Floral came out amazingly and we had a party bus from the Monark fleet which was awesome!
Q: What's the most creative wedding present you were given?
Juliana: My aunt made me a beautiful beaded purse that matched my wedding dress.
Q: What's the best marriage advice you received?
Juliana: Probably the best marriage advice we have received is to never go to bed angry. We always make it a point to give each other a kiss before bed.
Q: What is one thing that you do solely because you love your spouse?
Juliana: Cook!
