A Dravosburg woman has been arrested for using company checks from her former employer, Day Toyota, to pay off nearly $15,000 in personal credit card bills.
Renee L. Fulton, 36, of Scott Drive, worked in the office of Day Toyota, where she prepared checks for signing.
A police affidavit said Ms. Fulton admitted to placing checks covering her personal bills in a folder with other company checks for legitimate expenses for signing.
The Allegheny County district attorney's office charged Ms. Fulton with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Investigators allege she stole $14,691.76 from the dealership.
She was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Pat Capolupo and immediately waived her right to a preliminary hearing.
