The state Department of Environmental Protection has issued an air quality alert for the region for tomorrow.
Ozone is expected to rise into the unhealthy level as a high pressure system lingers over the retion.
When ozone is expected to be high, people are asked to conserve electricity and set air conditioners at a higher temperature.
They are also encouraged to use public transportation and bicycles or walk; refuel cars and trucks after dusk; and limit engine idling.
