William O'Neal, Aliquippa's treasurer, died of natural causes in his office Sunday.

Police found Mr. O'Neal's body at 5:55 p.m. while responding to a call from family members who couldn't contact him. Mr. O'Neal, 64, suffered from diabetes, which police said contributed to his death. No foul play is suspected, and no autopsy will be performed.

Police Chief Ralph Pallante called Mr. O'Neal's death a "sad loss for the city of Aliquippa."
