Halfback Willie Parker and nose tackle Casey Hampton were declared out of the Steelers game Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens, coach Mike Tomlin said today.
Parker has a sprained knee and Hampton has a groin injury. Rookie Rashard Mendenhall will start at halfback and Chris Hoke at nose tackle.
Tomlin would not predict how long Parker will be out or specify the type of sprain to his knee, which occurred late in the 15-6 loss to Philadelphia Sunday.
Defensive end Brett Keisel won't play Monday either. He's out at least three more weeks with a calf injury.
