Martini Madness benefits the Society of Contemporary Craft
Saturday, September 20, 2008

It is reassuring to know the terrorists were not successful when it comes to destroying an American favorite, the humble martini. On Sept. 11, Martini Madness, a benefit for the Society for Contemporary Craft, was enthusiastically attended. Guests bought hand-crafted martini glasses ranging in price from $38 to $180 and then sampled several varieties of White Diamond Vodka martinis. Munchies were provided to keep the madness to a minimum. Welcoming guests was director Jim Wilkinson with his wife, Suzanne.
