Riverplex at Sandcastle isn't ready to call it a season quite yet.

Having partied through the Pittsburgh Irish Festival and Festa Italiana, this weekend it adds a new catch-all ethnic festival in its lovely green space.

The International Taste of Pittsburgh has the feel of an outdoor Pittsburgh Folk Festival with crafts and dances while also adding a music menu with the likes of Joe Grushecky (who is Serbian, after all), Britpop band The Elliotts, Latin funk band Kokolo and Cajun stars Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience.

It's a variety of traditional and contemporary entertainment, ethnic food, an International marketplace, children's activities, dance workshops and more.

Hours are 4 p.m. to midnight Friday and 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday. Admission is $8 adult online; $10 at the gate; $8 seniors (60+) and students with ID; $5 military active/retired with ID; $3 children (3-12 years); $2 admission Friday 4 to 6 p.m.; half-price admission Friday 6 to 8 p.m. with student ID.
