He was not "The Mole" -- I was tricked! -- but Mark, a 42-year-old teacher and father of three (soon to be four) from Wisconsin, wins $420,000 thanks to discovering the identity of the saboteur, Craig. Mark was a meticulous note-taker and excellent athlete, and while he had many near-executions, his hard work led to the grand prize. He scored 17 out of 20 correct on the final quiz, while runner-up Dr. Nicole scored 13. Mark says he won the ABC game so his wife, Brenda, could stay home and raise their kids.
It all makes sense now -- The Mole, Craig, a 30-year-old San Diego graphic designer, was tricky and smart. The lovable, funny, chubby guy sometimes moved slow, struggled physically and broke the rules during challenges, but wasn't often a suspect because the other players liked him so much. But he sabotaged more than $100,000 from being added to the pot! On a side note, when Craig ended up in an ambulance in the Andes Mountains, he really was suffering from altitude sickness and hypothermia, which terrified the few crew members who knew his real identity.
It took six seasons, but NBC's "Last Comic Standing" has finally crowned its first female winner. Congratulations to Iliza Shlesinger. The 25-year-old Dallas funnywoman ruled the season, winning all head-to-head challenges, outjoking 10 guys and one woman to win $250,000, a Honda Pilot and a guest appearance at Bally's Jubilee in Las Vegas. "It's not so much about being a girl, it's about being a funny comic," she says.
On "The Greatest American Dog," Bill & Star win the Dog Bone Suite, but he repays the favor to Teresa & Leroy, who gave him the deluxe room last week. Teresa & Leroy get a leg up on the competition and win the Salvador Doggie challenge with their dog-created painting. Laura & Preston are sadly eliminated, but judge Wendy Diamond is right when she says Pomeranian Preston's painted heart looks like a pink pretzel. Also, Laura shouldn't have tried to sell out Beth Joy & Bella Starlet during the elimination round. Beth Joy may be annoying, but I don't believe she'd do anything in a challenge to hurt her mutt.
"Greatest American Dog" airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
On the season four finale of Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance," after 60 million votes, Joshua is voted the winner, edging out fellow untrained street dancer Twitch. Joshua, 20, is the show's youngest winner of $250,000. When his name is announced, the Dallas dancer cries and says, "Never let anyone tell you that you can't do anything because everybody ... no matter what you do, you can always go for it." Contemporary dancer Katee is the top female dancer over another contemporary dancer, Courtney, winning $50,000.
On "I Love Money," the Gold Team wins its fourth challenge in a row, making Pumkin paymaster. The Green Team nominates Brandi C., Megan and Chance, and at Pumkin's Power Outing, Megan successfully sways her, assuring her she and Toastee will be safe. She tells Megan she doesn't like her but bravely eliminates Chance, breaking her strong Stallionaire alliance, which causes Real and Whiteboy to flip out. Now Pumkin's a true target. Chance deserves it anyway -- he's not good at the challenges and he threatens to drown Megan's sweet little Chihuahua.
"I Love Money" airs Sunday at 11 a.m. and 9 and 10:30 p.m.
... is Dr. Nicole, the biggest sourpuss ever on "The Mole." She's The Mole's final victim. Kudos for being the game's final female, but with her erratic behavior and poor attitude throughout the season -- even if it was a successful strategy -- she doesn't deserve to win. "You've got to do what you've got to do to get to the top," she says. Too bad she's so cranky!
