Saxonburg Boulevard in Indiana Township is expected to be reopened before noon today after crews finish repairing cables that fell across the highway south of Harts Run Road.

The problem occurred around 7 a.m. as a thunderstorm moved through the area. Initially, drivers were prevented from heading onto Saxonburg Boulevard at the Route 8 intersection in Shaler.

In an unrelated traffic incident, a tractor-trailer coming off the 31st Street Bridge got hung up at the Route 28 intersection between Millvale and the North Side, complicating morning rush hour traffic in both directions but mostly outbound for about two hours.
