Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating the shooting of a man in a McKees Rocks housing project last night.

County dispatchers said the man was gunned down about 7 p.m. while he was walking in front of a home in the 800 block of Gray Street. The man was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where his condition was unknown.

Police are looking for a gold SUV, possibly a Ford Expedition, that fled the scene.
