Volunteers of America's Working Order program said its entrepreneurs were collaborating with the Disability Connection project Voices of our Region. The project, supported by the Department of Human Services Office of Community Relations and the FISA Foundation, will record the personal stories of people in southwestern Pennsylvania with all types of disabilities and from all ages and cultures. Disability Connection will produce a documentary CD with regional distribution. The collection of original audio recordings and photographs will be stored in the Carnegie Library system.

Michigan-based Barton Malow, a general contractor and construction manager, leased 3,221 square feet at 601 Technology Drive in Southpointe, owned by Canonsburg-based Horizon Properties Group LLC.

Bit-x-bit LLC said it has the exclusive endorsement of the Allegheny County Bar Association to provide computer forensic and e-discovery consulting services to ACBA's members, who will receive a 5 percent discount on bit-x-bit's services.

New Business/New Offices

Vector Marketing opened a new sales office at 3578 Brodhead Road Unit 1-A, Monaca, run by branch manager Jessie Wright.

Contracts

Engauge was retained by Glory Foods to serve as agency of record and oversee its advertising, marketing, brand strategy, packaging, interactive and media planning initiatives.

Landau Building Co. was awarded a contract from UPMC to construct Phase I (of two) of Presbyterian University Hospital's Outpatient Neurosurgery unit. The architect is Burt Hill.
