Neckties helping research to combat ovarian and breast cancer.

Father's Day is tomorrow, and if you're worried about giving Dad the same old tie, we can help.

You can help, too, by giving Dad one of these great Vineyard Vines ties designed by Dr. Joe Kelley, a renowned gynecologic oncologist as well as a researcher at Magee-Womens Hospital.

"It was a novel way to raise money and awareness with regard to ovarian and breast cancer research," he says. The discreet ribbon pattern on the ties symbolizes breast and ovarian cancer awareness, and wearing one is a show of support for the mothers and daughters who may be battling the disease.

The ties sell for $80 (half the proceeds go to Magee) and may be purchased at the gift shop in Magee-Womens Hospital, online at foundation.mwrif.org or at Larrimor's, Downtown.
