Crafton Elementary teachers Clare Rex and Kelly Papst have received $250 mini-grants sponsored by the Crafton Elementary PTA.
Mrs. Rex, a sixth-grade teacher, was awarded a grant to support her proposed Passport to Reading program. She will use the grant to buy literary selections about various countries.
Mrs. Papst, a speech and language therapist, will buy educational software for speech students who have articulation or phonological disorders.
High school band students will perform during a free spring band concert at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the high school auditorium, Kings Highway, Robinson.

The high school Future Business Leaders of America chapter raised $350 for Western Pennsylvania Hospital-Burn Trauma Center with a Battle of the Bands on April 23.
School directors voted May 7 to hire these winter sports head coaches:
Jeff Ackerman, boys basketball, $8,987; Scott Taylor, wrestling, $6,739; Jamie Morton, swimming, $6,739; Shannon Boyle, girls basketball, $8,987; Nicole Rojas, cheerleading, $2,747; and Amy Caprino, gymnastics, $5,617.
Board members Ben Bonham and Mark Limbruner voted no on the head swim coach. Director Carol Cellini left the meeting and did not vote. All other votes were unanimous.
Kindergarten registration for children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1 will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Foster Kindergarten Center, 800 Russellwood Ave., Stowe.
Parents or guardians must bring their child's proof of age, Social Security number, immunization records, verification of residency and any speech, hearing or language reports.
