Ambridge Nationality Days Festival, Beaver County's biggest and longest-running festival, will open its 43rd season tomorrow through Sunday with ethnic displays, food and entertainment on Merchant Street in the heart of the borough.
Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
New booths will feature Mexican, Italian, German and Thai foods.
Six churches will be represented at the festival -- Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox, Good Samaritan, St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic, Ambridge Christian Center and St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church. Holy Trinity has been in the festival every year.
The festival will have 33 food booths, 45 craft and information booths, and displays by 25 vendors and organizations.
A slide show, "Ambridge: A Picture Show," will feature old photographs and scenes in the Ambridge Family Theatre. The Hall of Nations with a heritage display and demonstrations from churches will be open at 555 Merchant St.
In addition to the two children's areas offering games, pony rides, a rock wall and inflatables, there will be a 20-foot by 6-foot "Monster Mural" that children can paint.

Tomorrow -- 5 p.m., opening ceremonies; 5:30 p.m., Ambridge Steel Drums; 7 p.m., Zababa.
Saturday -- noon, St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Dancers; 1 p.m., Hellenic Dancers of Holy Trinity; 2 p.m., Pittsburgh Banjo Club; 3 p.m., SNPJ Button Box Club; 4:30 p.m., The Shy Guys; 7 p.m., Kardaz.
Sunday -- 1 p.m., Dick Tady; 3 p.m., Rocky Chichugia.
The parade will not be held this year.
