The Swissvale Zoning Board has ruled that Pyramid Healthcare is operating a group home in violation of the borough code.

The board voted 3-2 last night to reject Pyramid's appeal against citations levied against the agency for failing to obtain a conditional use permit for supportive housing units for adolescents at 1901 Hanover St.

The board also gave Pyramid 60 days to comply with borough ordinances.

Pyramid officials have said previously that Pyramid would file an appeal in Common Pleas Court if the zoning board ruled against the agency.
