Mon Valley Initiative will hold a Career Exploration Workshop today for those considering employment in customer service.

It starts at 2 p.m. at the MVI office, at 305 E. Eighth Ave., Homestead.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with hiring representatives from Dollar Bank, Unison Health Plan, Kelly Services for PNC Bank, Comcast Cable and Walgreen's Medmark.

"Our career exploration workshops are more intimate than what you'd find at a job fair," said Jeff Brooks, MVI work force development director. "This will allow those seeking employment opportunities in customer service direct access to positions available and employer expectations. It's not just handing out resumes and cover letters."
