Q.: Hi, Ed. Love reading your post. If Jonathan Stewart would have fallen to 23, do you think the Steelers still would have gone with Mendenhall? I love the Mendenhall pick, BTW.

BOUCHETTE: They still would have picked Mendenhall, I believe. They did like Stewart and he's the one most people mentioned as a possible draft pick for them at the position. He was mentioned because he was thought to be most likely to fall that far, because he had toe surgery. Few thought Mendenhall would fall. Mendenhall can do more than Stewart -- run, block and catch. They rated him the second-best back in the draft, behind Darren McFadden.
