Carnegie Mellon's CMPack'03 team won in the four-legged Sony Aibo league; a university team won the world championship in that league at last year's RoboCup in Fukuoka, Japan. Its CMDragons'03 won in the small-size robot league.
The University of Amsterdam team won in the simulation league -- a software-only competition similar to video games -- and the team from Iran University of Science and Technology won in the simulation coach league.
