Family Bereavement Support Program

This free, four-week program aims to help grieving families, with young children or teens, re-establish and strengthen family bonds. It will benefit newly bereaved families as well as those continuing to work through grief.

Participants will enjoy activities and projects as they learn about the grieving process and get practical tips on how to heal as a family unit.

Pittsburgh Jingle Bell 5k Run/Walk For Arthritis

Catch some of the best sights in Pittsburgh exciting 5k run/1.5 mile fun walk that includes prizes, a costume contest and a Holly Hour after the race at McFadden's.

Arthritis is a group of conditions involving damage to the joints of the body. The day is complete with wellness sessions that will include arthritis information, bone density, body mass index and osteoporosis screening, in addition to a massage therapist, nutritional and exercise information.

Registration for the race is $25 and proceeds help the Arthritis Foundation fund programs for people with arthritis, public health education initiatives and local-research grants. For more information, call (412) 566-1645.
